SMS Terms of Service

These SMS Terms of Service ("SMS Terms") govern your enrollment in and use of the short message service ("SMS") program operated by DriveGuard Insights. By affirmatively checking an SMS consent box on our subscribe page, you agree to these SMS Terms.
1. Program Description
The DriveGuard Insights SMS program is a strictly informational program. We use SMS only to deliver content that you have explicitly requested, such as confirmation of your subscription, delivery of our free educational guide, and alerts about newly published vehicle-specific educational resources.
2. DriveGuard Insights Is Not an Insurance Provider
DriveGuard Insights is not an insurance company, insurance agent, insurance broker, lead generator, or marketplace. SMS messages will never solicit insurance products, quote premiums, broker policies, or forward your information to any insurance carrier, agent, or broker.
3. Opt-In and Consent
SMS enrollment requires that you affirmatively check an unchecked-by-default consent box and provide your mobile phone number. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of receiving any educational content from DriveGuard Insights. Account notification consent and marketing consent are collected separately. You may select either, both, or neither.
4. Message Frequency and Cost
Message frequency varies based on the program category you opt into. Standard message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. First Message
Your first message after opt-in will identify DriveGuard Insights, confirm the requested content, state the message frequency, include "Msg & data rates may apply," confirm that you can reply STOP to cancel, and confirm that DriveGuard Insights is not an insurance company or agent.
6. Opt-Out
You may opt out of the SMS program at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message. We will send a single confirmation message and will not send any further messages to your number after opt-out. We maintain a server-side opt-out list and honor opt-out requests promptly.

8. Supported Carriers
The program is generally available on major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change without notice.
9. Privacy and No Transfer to Insurance Parties
We treat your mobile information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, share, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer your mobile information or SMS consent data to any insurance carrier, insurance agent, insurance broker, lead aggregator, comparison platform, or third-party marketer for any purpose.
10. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder for the mobile number you provide, or have the account holder's permission, to enroll in the SMS program.
11. Changes to These SMS Terms
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date. Continued participation in the SMS program after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised SMS Terms.
